ELISEO SORIANO Y FERNANDO was born April 4, 1947 to Triunfo Soriano and
Catalina Fernando in the City of Pasay, Metro Manila. Out of eight
siblings, he is seventh to the eldest.
As a child, Eliseo was very shy. He disliked mingling with other people, save
for his family. Because of his shyness, he entered school at a later age. With his parents eagerly convincing him to go to
school, he finally entered at the age of eight, but he skipped his classes and escaped his teachers.
Yet compared with the other students in his class, Eliseo was exceptionally
brilliant. This he had proven by sweeping majority of academic awards and recognitions. Furthermore, he was elected president
of the student council and was chosen as assistant principal by their school directress when he was in high school.
But, he failed to finish high school. Barely three months before his graduation,
Eliseo Soriano’s inclination leaned towards studying the Holy Scriptures. Reading the Words of GOD in the Bible interested
him more and won him against continuing his education and fulfilling his dream of becoming a scientist.
In April
7, 1964, exactly three days after his 17th birthday, Eliseo was baptized in Seneguelasan, Bacoor, Cavite, and became an official
member of the Iglesia ng Dios kay Kristo Hesus, Haligi at Suhay ng Katotohanan
or Church of God in Christ Jesus, a breakaway
faction of the Iglesia ni Kristo.
In 1969, Nicolás Pérez, who was
then the church’s presiding minister, made Brother Eli the sole recipient of the title minister—thus making him
the only minister in the Church of God in Christ Jesus at that
time. It was clear then that the aging leader was grooming his young protégé for a future responsibility. Soriano left this
sect in 1976 following a dispute with Levita Gugulan, who was selected by Pérez to succeed him after his death.
In 1977, Soriano registered a new group, called Iglesia ng Dios kay Kristo Hesus, Haligi at Saligan ng Katotohanan, which later evolved to Mga Kaanib sa Iglesia ng Dios kay Kristo Hesus, Haligi at Saligan ng Katotohanan sa Bansang Pilipinas, Inc. in
1990 and eventually became Bayan ng Katotohanan in 1993.
Because of the similarity between the name used by Gugulan’s group and
Soriano's, the former filed a suit, which was resolved in 2001 in favor of Gugulan's group, Soriano's church changed its name
to Iglesia Ni YHWH at ni YHWSA HMSYH (Church of YHWH and YHWSA HMSYH), and its
members prefer that their church be referred to as Members Church of God International.

Where is Eliseo F. Soriano?
Eliseo F. Soriano is wanted is nowhere to be found. As with the ADD turned MCGI their presiding minister is
visiting their brethren and preaching the gospel outside the Philippines. But why is it taking too long. He had trips like these
before but this one seems to be the longest and still running… members and not now wonder is he coming back? Here is a story not everyone know.
Months before he left his Members here in the Philippines, Daniel
S. Veridiano aka “Puto” his Church Assistant General Secretary, (though the side of Eliseo F.
Soriano denies that he is) leaves his Church and moved over to the INC side. After a few months a civil case was filed against
Eliseo F. Soriano in the Philippine Government with the charge of…. RAPE.

In separate news, one of the may reason why Eliseo F. Soriano
self exile to the US is another case, this time a case filed by the Muslim
Community against him.

Other reason why Eliseo F. Soriano is that his Religion is currently in a state of flux, several MIC’s
are showing withdrawal of support and wants a change or else they will start their own group.
Another reason is that Eliseo F. Soriano still hasn’t face the INC regarding his Contradictions and the Debate
that everybody is looking out for.
